The people of Mauritius speak French and English, and a beautiful blend of the two languages known as Creole. Again, the worship in all three languages was amazing to experience as the presence of God’s Spirit filled the room every time!
The teachings included the importance of Jesus in the midst of ministry, our inheritance in Christ and the legacy we can leave. There was also ministry and prayer for pastors, accompanied by physical healings.
I taught again on the Kingdom of God and discipleship. Several key leaders let me know later that what I had taught was very confirming to the churches in Mauritius, as the Holy Spirit had impressed upon them the need for intentional discipleship. What a great confirmation of the Holy Spirit’s desire!
THE UTTERMOST PARTS
Though the island of Mauritius is small, it has a growing number of committed Christ followers who are intent on spreading the Gospel – not only on their island, but also to neighboring islands like Madagascar and lands beyond. We cannot wait to hear how the seminars and the Shepherd’s Staff have helped them in “making disciples of all nations”!
UNITY IN PURPOSE
These were great seminars, and it seems like with every trip, spiritual momentum is building. Though separated by language, distance and other factors, we share the most important things in common – a hunger for the Word of God and the Spirit, a fervency in dedication to the cause of Christ, and an overwhelming desire to advance His Kingdom in the earth by bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every person in every nation.
The World MAP seminars are an important investment in the lives of God’s chosen Kingdom leaders. The “pay out” will only be measured in eternity, but it is guaranteed by the One who is eternal and the only King of kings! This work is only possible because of your prayers and giving. So on behalf of the pastors in southern Africa – and the tens of thousands more around the world that World MAP is helping – we thank you, we bless you, and we praise the Lord for you! “Gloria a Deus!”
